About

Chris Ecklund has spent more than nearly 30 years immersed in the pursuit of performance. That word has defined his career in multiple ways—helping athletes and clients achieve their physical best, guiding businesses and teams to grow, and teaching students and professionals how to reach their full potential. Whether through movement, wellness, leadership, or education, Chris’s mission has always been clear: help people thrive.

Chris began his journey in human performance with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology, later adding multiple certifications (Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, USA Weightlifting Coach, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Neurokinetic Therapy). He built his reputation not only as a practitioner but also as an educator and leader, founding and serving as CEO of Prevail Conditioning Performance Center while also teaching kinesiology at the university level and serving as a Master Trainer and Instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine. His contributions in the classroom earned him recognition, including an Adjunct Faculty Teaching Award from Westmont College.

Alongside his work as a coach and educator, Chris developed into an international speaker, writer, and subject matter expert, presenting on movement, performance, and leadership on global stages. Known for translating science into strategies that people can apply immediately, he has influenced not only athletes but also executives, coaches, and health professionals. His writing and curriculum development emphasize the integration of science, practice, and long-term sustainability in wellness.

Chris’s career has also expanded beyond performance coaching into leadership and business development. He has served in roles that required building and scaling teams, driving growth, and cultivating partnerships. For Chris, the principles of performance—assessment, strategy, discipline, and adaptability—apply as much to businesses as they do to individuals.

Today, Chris focuses on human performance, wellness and longevity, with a philosophy that healthspan matters as much as lifespan.  He runs his own practice, Integrated Performance, LLC where he works with C Suite Executives, elite athletes and those that desire to maximize wellness and performance. Whether helping a client improve mobility, supporting an executive in maintaining energy and clarity, or guiding an athlete to peak performance, Chris emphasizes resilience and quality of life.

At home in Pittsboro, North Carolina, Chris lives with his wife Emily, their son Jameson, and their daughter Elle. God and his family are his anchors and the lens through which he views wellness: not just as an individual pursuit, but as a foundation for relationships, vitality, and longevity.

From classrooms to clinics, from business leadership to international stages, Chris has built a career defined by performance and potential. His vision is simple but powerful: help people unlock their best, sustain it, and live fully for the long term.
